Nextlane exceeded 100M€ revnue in 2022

Paris, France, March 29th, 2023 – Imaweb enables the main players in the automotive market to accelerate their digital transformation. The company’s solutions are now among the most widely used by dealers and manufacturers in most of the countries where it operates, with leading positions in France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland. It has succeeded in offering a coherent range of solutions to support the digitalization of the automotive sector. An effective recipe that has been acclaimed by its customers.

Growth boosted by a strategy focused on innovation and mergers & acquisitions

For several years now, Imaweb has been implementing an innovation strategy, enabling it to integrate and communicate seamlessly with the multiple solutions used by players in the sector. The year 2022 saw Imaweb exceed €100M in revenues for the first time. In the space of four years, its revenue has increased tenfold, from €10M to €103M.

This meteoric rise has been achieved through an intense acquisition strategy that has enabled it to take key positions in most European markets.

The turning point came in 2019, when Imaweb merged with iCar Systems and Datafirst, two French companies specializing in software dedicated to automotive distribution, and set up its headquarters in France. From 2020 to 2022, the Imaweb group acquired 11 companies, becoming the European leader to offer a complete range of products for the automotive sector.

Today, through its results, Imaweb demonstrates its ability to integrate in a coherent way these different acquisitions and develop strong synergies between the different entities of the group.

“Our external growth strategy has paid off,” says Julian Ciccalè, CEO of Imaweb. “Thanks to our various acquisitions, we have established ourselves very quickly in the main European markets and have enriched our solutions offering to accelerate the digital transformation of the automotive market.”

New appointments to support this growth

In order to achieve its development objectives, Imaweb has announced strategic appointments within its management team in recent years. Jean-Louis Baffier, Chief Revenue Officer, Graham Howell, Chief Financial Officer and Olivier Bisson took up their positions in 2022. In the same year, Hélène Lanssens joined Imaweb as Chief Product Officer.

These appointments are in line with recent decisions of the Imaweb group, including the development of its service catalogue.

“In the context of accelerated digitalization of the automotive industry, we still have many opportunities available to us and strong development prospects in several geographical areas. Today, we are focusing on consolidating our offer in order to provide a range of complementary and comprehensive solutions to the players in the automotive industry,” concludes Julian Ciccalè, CEO of Imaweb.
